SHOW NO. 93 - (Nov 9th, 2022) In this episode, Attorney Larry Becraft provides detailed explanations and illustrations of the genesis of the federal income tax statutes and regulations from 1913 through the present, the understanding of which is critical to understanding the meaning and scope of the federal income tax laws as they exist today.
Included in Larry’s presentation is a table published by the federal government that matches sections of the 1939 federal income tax laws to the 1954 and 1986 federal income tax laws. Larry points out how some of the significantly descriptive 1939 tax laws were “omitted” from the 1954 and 1986 tax laws, clearly designed to slowly, over time, obscure the true boundaries of the federal income tax laws so that the average American would not be able to detect who the law actually required to pay the federal income tax.
Also included in Larry’s presentation is a discussion of the word “special” with many illustrations of the way the word “special” is used in the federal income tax laws and what the impact is of the use of the word.
